Sister Bay to Washington Island & return.
This may be as close as most of us will ever come to having an entire Island to ourselves with 100 miles of paved roads and hardly any people or cars. Our route will enable us to vary our distances and take us to Sand Dunes Beach, Schoolhouse beach, and of course past a few great choices for lunch and ice cream. There will be time to stop in at the Jacobsen Museum and antique shops, to climb a dune, or relax at the beach. Several ferry boats in each direction make it easy to budget your time on the Island. Easy riding with many picture-perfect photo-ops. 35-45-55 miles.

Sister Bay-Peninsula State Park loop
East to Baileys Harbor and the famous Cana Island light house on the Lake Michigan shore. Then west to Fish Creek, the "downtown" of Door County where you will find many choices for lunch, gifts, and scenic bayside views and parks. Of course our route will take us through Peninsula State Park where you can relax on the beach or visit a historic lighthouse. For decades the park has been regarded by many as the ideal vacation destination. Our scenic road route goes from one end of the park to the other where a great downhill takes us into the town of Ephraim where you are sure to find whatever you didn't in Fish Creek . 40-55 miles..

Sister Bay to Sturgeon Bay --38 Miles
Our return to Sturgeon Bay follows the west side of the peninsula to Egg Harbor and the Green Bay shoreline. About this time you will begin to notice a change in demeanor among your fellow cyclists. They have contracted DCWS---Door County Withdrawal Syndrome-----the natural state of mind that sets in when one is faced with the realization that the end of the tour is near at hand and they will be returning to their usual biking areas. Fortunately there are cures. They are called Northwoods, Old World Wisconsin, Florida Keys or San Juan Islands!
Ideal terrain for all ability levels--Door County is flat to gently rolling.
Relaxing on the ferry boat to Washington Island
Buffets are a biker's best friend.

Loop ride from Sturgeon Bay and three nights in Sister Bay. Five days of photo-op cycling with many miles of shoreline, forests, and State Parks while never far from a beach or pub.
